Pet Friendly Rental Information:
A unique feature of the Best Western Beachside Inn is our "pet-friendliness." Rates are $20/pet and there is no size limitation. If you're a family or just wanting to take your dog for a walk on the beach, we're here to make your stay and your animals' a comfortable one.
In general, Santa Barbara is a pet/animal friendly city. Parks such as the Douglas Family Preserve, Chase Palm Park, Shoreline Park and Oak Park offers long stretch of water front and rustic land where pets are allowed to be kept off-leash. As with any popular pet spots, it's important that your pet is okay with others.
For emergency pets care, both the Pacific Emergency Pet Hospital (805-682-5120) and CARE hospital (805-899-2273) are open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Whenever possible, call ahead to let them know you'll be coming, as you never know which vet on duty may have an unique specialty on your pet.
